the surface to be sprayed to remove any residual liquid from the high pressure line, valve, lance and nozzle.
Never start the pump when the spray liquid tank is empty. When running dry, the pump will be
permanently damaged very quickly. Damage caused by working without working fluid is not covered
by the warranty terms.
After finishing work, observing the instructions in the point (Emptying and cleaning the spray
liquid tank), empty and clean the spray liquid tank to prepare the device for storage. Wash hands
and face thoroughly with soap and change work clothes.
SPRAYER CARE AND MAINTENANCE
ABOUTGENERAL OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE PRESSURE SPRAYER
After the first 5 hours of operation, check that all externally accessible bolts and nuts (without
removing covers and housings) are properly tightened, and if necessary, tighten them properly.
Before starting work, always make sure that the device is complete, in working order and in a
condition that guarantees safe use. Regular maintenance should be performed. If there is a need for
specialized repairs, please contact an authorized service center. The user bears the consequences
for damage and destruction caused by independent repairs requiring the work of specialists or
failure to perform the required maintenance, as well as for damage to the equipment resulting from
improper storage of the device.
S.CHECKING THE WORKING LIQUID EXPENSE
Before the next spraying season (on average once a year), we recommend that you check the actual
spray rate to make sure it complies with the data given in the table under "Outlet nozzle, liquid flow
rate".
To do this, fill the spray liquid tank with water to the maximum level, and then spray for a specified
time, eg one minute, at one of the pump switch settings. After a certain time, switch the device off
and measure the amount of water used again to the maximum level by refilling the liquid container.
The measured amount of water (after possible conversion, if the time was different than one minute)
will be the output in liters per minute at the set pump switch setting. The measured value should not
differ by more than 10% from the value given in the table. If the measured flow is too low, the
discharge nozzle may be clogged. Clean the nozzle and re-measure. If the measured flow is too high,
the cause may be a damaged or worn discharge nozzle.
ABOUTVACUUMING AND CLEANING THE WORKING LIQUID TANK
In order to empty the spray liquid tank, tilt the sprayer upside down and pour the remaining
liquid into a separate tank. Then, the tank should be cleaned with a specially designed cleaning
liquid after anti-pesticides, eg PESTICLEAN or similar. Then dry the sprayer before closing the
lid. You can use a dry cotton cloth for complete drying.
