FOREWORD
This manual has been prepared for the owner and those respon-
sible for the operation of a Powermatic Model 26 Shapero
Its purpose, aside from machine operation, is to promote
safety through the use or accepted correct operating and
maintenance procedures. Read the safety and maintenance
instructions thoroughly before operating or servicing the
machine.
In order to obtain maximum life and efficiency from your
Powermatic shaper and to aid in operating and maintaining
the shaper with safety, read this manual thoroughly and
follow all instructions carefully.
The specifications put forth in this manual were in effect at
the time of pUblication. However, owing to Powermatic's
policy of continuous improvement, changes to these specifica-
