Why does my Pro-Form Treadmill power turn off during use?
    • A
      Amanda WongJul 31, 2025
The Pro-Form Treadmill might be turning off during use due to several reasons. First, check the reset/off circuit breaker and if it has tripped, wait five minutes before pressing the switch back in. Also, ensure the power cord is properly plugged in; if it is, unplug it, wait five minutes, and plug it back in. Another potential solution is to remove and reinsert the key from the console. If these steps don't resolve the issue, further assistance may be needed.

What to do if my Pro-Form Treadmill walking belt is off-center?

      Michael SchultzAug 6, 2025
If the walking belt of your Pro-Form Treadmill is off-center, first remove the key and unplug the power cord. If the belt has shifted to the left, use a hex key to turn the left idler roller bolt clockwise 1/2 turn. If it has shifted to the right, turn the bolt counterclockwise 1/2 turn. Ensure you don't overtighten the belt. Plug the power cord back in, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat this process until the walking belt is centered.

How to turn on Pro-Form 1195 ZLT?
    • D
      Dennis GibbsAug 11, 2025
To turn on your Pro-Form Treadmill, ensure the power cord is plugged into a properly earthed outlet; if using an extension cord, it should be a 3-conductor, 14-gauge (1 mm[2]) cord no longer than 5 ft (1.5 m). Also, make sure the key is inserted into the console. Finally, check the reset/off circuit breaker located on the treadmill frame near the power cord. If the switch protrudes, the circuit breaker has tripped; wait five minutes, then press the switch back in to reset it.

What to do if Pro-Form 1195 ZLT Treadmill incline does not change?
    • L
      Lisa PalmerAug 16, 2025
If the incline of your Pro-Form Treadmill isn't changing correctly, insert the key into the console and press one of the Incline buttons. While the incline is changing, remove the key. After a few seconds, re-insert the key. This action will cause the treadmill to automatically rise to the maximum incline and then return to the minimum level, recalibrating the incline system.

How to fix Pro-Form 1195 ZLT walking belt slowing down?
    • L
      Leah JacobsAug 20, 2025
The walking belt on your Pro-Form Treadmill might be slowing down due to a few reasons. If you're using an extension cord, make sure it's a 3-conductor, 14-gauge (1 mm[2]) cord no longer than 5 ft (1.5 m). Also, the walking belt might be overtightened. To correct this, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Use a hex key to turn both idler roller bolts counterclockwise 1/4 of a turn. When properly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the belt 2 to 3 inches off the platform. Keep the belt centered, plug the cord back in, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until the belt is properly tightened.

Why do the Pro-Form Treadmill console displays remain lit?
    • A
      Alexis SanfordAug 26, 2025
If the console displays on your Pro-Form Treadmill remain lit even after you remove the key, it's likely that the display demo mode is activated. This mode is intended for use when the treadmill is on display in a store. To deactivate it, try holding down the Stop button for a few seconds. If the displays are still lit, see THE INFORMATION MODE on page 19 to turn off the demo mode.
