What to do if my Pro-Form Treadmill power does not turn on?
    • F
      fandersonJul 29, 2025
First, ensure the power cord is properly plugged into a surge suppressor, and that the surge suppressor is connected to a grounded outlet. Use a surge suppressor meeting the specifications. Note that the treadmill isn't compatible with GFCI outlets. Also, check that the key is inserted into the console. Finally, examine the reset/off circuit breaker on the treadmill frame near the power cord. If the switch protrudes, the breaker has tripped; wait five minutes, then press the switch back in to reset it.

If the power turns off during use, start by checking the reset/off circuit breaker. Also, ensure the power cord is securely plugged in. If it is, unplug it, wait five minutes, and then plug it back in. Another potential fix is to remove and reinsert the key from the console.

    • L
      Laura MillerAug 12, 2025
Make sure you are using a single-outlet surge suppressor that meets the necessary specifications. Also, check if the walking belt is overtightened. If it is, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Then, using the hex key, turn both rear roller bolts counterclockwise, 1/4 of a turn. When the walking belt is properly tightened, you should be able to keep it centered.
