What to do if Pro-Form 765 CROSSTRAINER Treadmill power turns off during use?
    • J
      Joshua GreerJul 31, 2025
If your Pro-Form Treadmill's power turns off during use, first check the reset/off circuit breaker. Also, ensure the power cord is securely plugged in; if it is, unplug it, wait five minutes, and plug it back in. Another solution is to remove and reinsert the key from the console. If the treadmill still won't run after these steps, consult the front cover of the manual.

      James WilliamsonAug 4, 2025
If your Pro-Form Treadmill's power does not turn on, ensure the power cord is plugged into a surge suppressor, and that the surge suppressor is plugged into a properly grounded outlet. Also, make sure that the key is inserted into the console. Finally, check the reset/off circuit breaker located on the treadmill frame near the power cord. If the switch protrudes, the circuit breaker has tripped. To reset it, wait five minutes and then press the switch back in.

Why does the walking belt slow down on my Pro-Form Treadmill?
    • J
      James HenryAug 10, 2025
If the walking belt on your Pro-Form Treadmill slows down when you walk on it, make sure you are using a single-outlet surge suppressor that meets all the necessary specifications. Additionally, if the walking belt feels too tight, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Use the hex key to turn both rear roller bolts counterclockwise, about 1/4 of a turn. When the walking belt is properly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the walking belt 2 to 3 inches off the walking platform.

    • L
      Lisa GrayAug 15, 2025
If the walking belt on your Pro-Form Treadmill is off-center or slips when you walk on it, adjust the rear roller bolts. If the belt has shifted to the left, use a hex key to turn the left rear roller bolt clockwise 1/2 turn. If it has shifted to the right, turn the bolt counterclockwise 1/2 turn. When the walking belt is correctly tightened, you should be able to lift each side of the walking belt 2 to 3 inches off the walking platform.

If the incline on your Pro-Form Treadmill does not change correctly, insert the key into the console and press one of the Incline buttons. While the incline is changing, remove the key. After a few seconds, re-insert the key. The treadmill will automatically rise to the maximum incline level and then return to the minimum level.

Why Pro-Form 765 CROSSTRAINER console displays stay on?
    • J
      Joy RoblesAug 25, 2025
If the displays on your Pro-Form Treadmill console remain lit even after you remove the key, the demo mode is likely turned on. To turn off the demo mode, try holding down the Stop button for a few seconds. If the displays are still lit, see THE INFORMATION MODE on page 21 to turn off the demo mode.
