      To fix a Pro-Form Treadmill that won't turn on, ensure the power cord is properly plugged into a grounded outlet. If using an extension cord, it should be a 3-conductor, 14-gauge cord no longer than 5 ft. Also, verify that the key is fully inserted into the console. Lastly, check the reset/off circuit breaker on the treadmill frame near the power cord. If the switch is protruding, wait five minutes, then press it back in to reset it.

      If your Pro-Form Treadmill turns off during use, check the reset/off circuit breaker and reset it if tripped by waiting five minutes before pressing the switch back in. Ensure the power cord is securely plugged in; unplug it, wait five minutes, and plug it back in to be sure. Also, try removing and reinserting the key from the console. If the issue persists, further assistance may be needed.

      If the walking belt on your Pro-Form Treadmill is off-center or slips, first unplug the treadmill. For an off-center belt, turn the left idler roller bolt clockwise (if the belt is shifted left) or counterclockwise (if shifted right) by 1/2 turn using a hex key. To fix slipping, turn both idler roller bolts clockwise by 1/4 turn. Ensure you can lift each edge of the belt 2-3 inches off the platform. Plug the treadmill back in, insert the key, and test, repeating adjustments as needed.

      If the incline on your Pro-Form Treadmill isn't changing correctly, insert the key into the console and press an incline button. While the incline is adjusting, remove the key, wait a few seconds, and then re-insert it. The treadmill should automatically rise to the maximum incline and then return to the minimum, recalibrating the incline system.

      If the walking belt on your Pro-Form Treadmill slows down when you walk on it, ensure you are using an appropriate extension cord (a 3-conductor, 14-gauge cord no longer than 5 ft.). If the belt is too tight, unplug the treadmill and use a hex key to turn both idler roller bolts counterclockwise by 1/4 turn. You should be able to lift each edge of the belt 2 to 3 inches. Plug the treadmill back in and run it for a few minutes, repeating until the belt is properly tightened.
