What to do if Pro-Form Treadmill walking belt slips?

  If the walking belt on your Pro-Form Treadmill slips when you walk on it, use the hex key to turn both idler roller screws clockwise, 1/4 of a turn. The walking belt is correctly tightened when you can lift each edge of the walking belt 2 to 3 inches off the walking platform.

  If the walking belt on your Pro-Form Treadmill is not centered, and it has shifted to the left, use the hex key to turn the left idler roller screw clockwise 1/2 of a turn. If the walking belt has shifted to the right, turn the left idler roller screw counterclockwise 1/2 of a turn.

Why does my Pro-Form Carbon TL PFTL59720-INT.0 walking belt slow down when I walk on it?

  If the walking belt on your Pro-Form Treadmill slows down when you walk on it, there could be several reasons: 1. If the walking belt is overtightened, treadmill performance may decrease and the walking belt may become damaged. Using the hex key, turn both idler roller screws counterclockwise, 1/4 of a turn. When the walking belt is properly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the walking belt 2 to 3 in. (5 to 7 cm) off the walking platform. 2. Make sure that the gap between the Magnet and the Reed Switch is about 3 mm (1/8 in.). 3. It may need more lubricant.
