What to do if Pro-Form CARBON TL Treadmill power does not turn on?
    • S
      Sheryl ThompsonJul 29, 2025
First, ensure the power cord is plugged into a surge suppressor and that the surge suppressor is plugged into a properly grounded outlet. If your circuit breaker trips repeatedly when the treadmill is used and it's connected to an AFCI-equipped outlet, consider purchasing an arc filter. Also, make sure the key is inserted into the console after plugging in the power cord. Finally, if the power switch has tripped, wait five minutes and then press the switch back in to reset it.

How to fix Pro-Form Treadmill walking belt that is off-center or slips?
    • P
      Philip LongAug 4, 2025
If the walking belt is off-center, remove the key. To correct a belt shifted to the left, turn the left idler roller screw clockwise 1/2 turn; for a belt shifted to the right, turn it counterclockwise 1/2 turn. If the belt slips, unplug the power cord first. Then, using a hex key, turn both idler roller screws clockwise 1/4 turn. Correct tightness allows lifting each edge of the belt 2 to 3 inches off the platform.

Why does my Pro-Form Treadmill power turn off during use?
    • R
      Roberta VillarrealAug 10, 2025
The power may be turning off during use due to several reasons. Check the power switch; if it has tripped, wait five minutes before pressing it back in. Ensure the power cord is securely plugged in; if it is, unplug it, wait five minutes, and then plug it back in. Also, try removing and reinserting the key from the console. If these steps don't resolve the issue, further assistance may be needed.

How to fix Pro-Form CARBON TL walking belt slowing down when walked on?
    • T
      Travis DuarteAug 16, 2025
If the walking belt slows down when walked on, ensure you are using a surge suppressor that meets all requirements. If the walking belt is overtightened, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Use a hex key to turn both idler roller screws counterclockwise 1/4 turn. When properly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the walking belt 2 to 3 inches off the walking platform.
