Viewing Video from the SD Card
The DVR unit stores video on an SD Card or on an SSD. It can be removed and connected to a computer for review.
1. Use a key to unlock the DVR cover and remove it.
2. Press the stop button to stop video recording. To ensure the recording is stopped, check to see that the STATUS
LED on the front of the unit is NOT solid green.
Important! The unit will automatically resume recording 30 seconds after the “STOP” button is pressed; if the recording
LED becomes solid green before the disk has been removed, press “STOP” again.
3. Remove the SD card press pressing it in slightly until it clicks, then it will pop out enough to handle.
4. Place the SD Card into a PRO-VISION® USB SD Card Reader (Part # DVR-102) or an equivalent SD Card
reader with SDXC card support, then connect the reader to a USB port on the computer.
5. Go to “Computer” or “My Computer” to access the files. The drive will show as an additional “Removable Disk” on
the computer.
6. Navigate through the files to the desired date/time and double click a file to play on the computers media player.
Viewing Videos Transferred with Software
PRO-VISION Connect (Formerly Enhance Connectivity Bundle)
Open the PRO-VISION Player software, click the Vehicle List button, from the window that opens, select your
vehicle/device, and then click on the transfers tab.
CloudConnect
Login to your CloudConnect account and then use the search box on the homepage to locate your video. You can also
select your vehicle/device and then view the recent transfers.
SecuraMax
Login to your SecuraMax account and then use the search/filter box on the homepage to locate your video.
File Structure & File Naming
File structure:
SD / Alarm / 20170508 / 20170508_10 / 2_20170508_104500_PVVS01.avi
SD / Alarm / YYYYMMDD / YYYYMMDD_HH / C_YYMMDD_HHMMSS_[UnitID].avi
Disk / Video Type / Date / Date _ Hour / Camera _ Date _ Time _ Unit Number. File Type
Disk: Storage Disk Type (SD Card)
Video Type: Video for normal video, Alarm for important event video
YYYYMMDD: YYYY=Year, MM=Month, DD=Day of start of file
HH: HH where HH=Hour in 24-hour format
C: Camera number, 1=Front, 2=Inside, 3=External
HHMMSS: HH=Hour, MM=Minute, SS=Second for start of file
File Type: Video files are in “.avi” file format, Images are in “.jpg” file format
