How to fix no spark at pilot on Procom Gas Heater?
    • M
      michael67Sep 12, 2025
If the ignitor button is pressed and the control knob is pressed in and turned to the PILOT position, but there is no spark at the ODS/pilot of your Procom Gas Heater, it could be due to several reasons. The ignitor electrode might be positioned wrong or broken, in which case you should replace the ignitor. It's also possible that the ignitor electrode is not connected to the ignitor cable, so try reconnecting it. The ignitor cable could be pinched or wet, so free it if pinched and keep it dry. If the ignitor cable is broken, replace it. Finally, a bad piezo ignitor could be the issue, so replace the piezo ignitor.

      David SmithSep 12, 2025
If your Procom Gas Heater burner(s) does not light after the ODS/pilot is lit, the burner orifice might be clogged. You can clean the burner orifice or replace it. Another possibility is that the burner orifice diameter is too small, in which case you should replace the burner orifice. Finally, the inlet gas pressure might be too low, so contact your local natural gas company.

Why does my Procom ML100HBAHR Gas Heater shut off while in use?
    • L
      Lauren JonesSep 12, 2025
If your Procom Gas Heater shuts off during use (ODS operates), it could be due to a few reasons. One possibility is that there isn't enough fresh air available, so try opening a window or door for ventilation. Another cause could be low line pressure, in which case you should contact your local propane/PL gas company. Lastly, a partially clogged ODS/pilot can cause this issue, so you can clean the ODS/pilot.

What to do if the pilot light goes out when releasing the control knob on my Procom ML100HBAHR Gas Heater?
    • C
      Courtney PerrySep 8, 2025
If the ODS/pilot lights on your Procom Gas Heater, but the flame goes out when you release the control knob, ensure the control knob is fully pressed in and held for at least 30 seconds after the pilot lights. Also, make sure the equipment shutoff valve is fully open. A loose thermocouple connection at the control valve can also cause this issue; hand tighten it until snug, then tighten an additional 1/4 turn. If the pilot flame isn't touching the thermocouple, it may cool down and cause the flame to go out. In this case, you can clean the ODS/pilot or replace the ODS/pilot assembly. Lastly, a damaged thermocouple should be replaced.

Why does my Procom ML100HBAHR Gas Heater produce unwanted odors?
    • S
      Sarah ScottSep 8, 2025
If your Procom Gas Heater is producing unwanted odors, it could be due to several reasons. The heater might be burning vapors from paint, hair spray, glues, or other similar products. Make sure to ventilate the room and stop using any odor-causing products while the heater is running. Another potential cause is a gas leak, which should be located and corrected immediately. A low fuel supply can also cause unwanted odors, so ensure that you refill the supply tank.
