What to do if my Procom PCK175VT motor starts but doesn't ignite?
    • J
      Jason ParsonsAug 14, 2025
If the Procom Heater's motor starts but the heater doesn't ignite, there could be several reasons. Check for leaks in the air lines or fittings and correct any leaks. Also, inspect the pump cover for leaks and tighten the pump cover screws to 10-20 in-lbs. If the pump output filter is clogged, replace it. You may also need to see Pump Pressure Adjustment page 14. Adjust pump pressure to specification. You may also need to service pump, see page 17.

      Roberto EricksonAug 17, 2025
If your Procom Heater ignites but the control assembly shuts it off before it runs out of fuel, several factors could be at play. Ensure there's enough fuel in the tank to maintain combustion. If there is water in the fuel tank, drain and flush it with kerosene. Also, a dirty photocell lens can cause this issue, so clean the photocell lens. You may also need to replace photocell.
