      Krystal RiosAug 19, 2025
If your Procom Heater shuts off while in use and the ODS is operating, it could be due to several reasons. You might not have enough fresh air available, so try opening a window or door for ventilation. Another potential cause is low line pressure, in which case you should contact your local gas supplier. Lastly, the ODS/pilot might be partially clogged, so consider cleaning it.

Why Procom Heater has spark but no ignition?
    • B
      Breanna HudsonAug 21, 2025
If you're getting a spark at the ODS/pilot but no ignition on your Procom Heater, there are several things to check. First, make sure your gas supply is turned on and the equipment shutoff valve is open. Ensure the control knob is fully pressed in while pressing the ignitor button. If the unit was just installed, there may be air in the gas lines, so continue holding down the control knob and repeat the igniting operation until the air is removed. The ODS/pilot could be clogged and require cleaning or replacement. Check that the inlet gas pressure is correct and the inlet regulator setting is not damaged. Also, confirm that the control knob is in the PILOT position. Finally, if you are using propane, ensure the gas supply isn't depleted and contact your local propane company if necessary.

How to fix no spark on Procom Heater?
    • T
      Todd KingAug 30, 2025
If there's no spark at the ODS/pilot when you press the ignitor button on your Procom Heater, the ignitor electrode may be positioned incorrectly or broken, requiring replacement. Another cause might be that the ignitor electrode is not connected to the ignitor cable, so the ignitor cable should be replaced. The ignitor cable could also be pinched or wet; free it if pinched and keep it dry. A broken ignitor cable or a bad piezo ignitor can also cause this issue, and in those cases, the ignitor cable or piezo ignitor should be replaced.

Why is my Procom MG10TBF whistling?
    • G
      gwhiteSep 6, 2025
If your Procom Heater is producing a whistling noise when the burner is lit, avoid turning the control knob to the high position when the burner is cold; instead, turn it to the low position and let it warm up for a minute. Air in the gas line could also be the cause, so operate the burner until the air is removed from the line. Blocked air passageways on the heater can also cause this, so observe the minimum installation clearances. A dirty or partially clogged burner orifice might also be the culprit; try cleaning the burner.
