What to do if my Procom MN100TPA-B smells like gas during combustion?
    • T
      Thomas RossAug 20, 2025
If you notice a gas odor during combustion with your Procom Heater, it could be due to foreign matter between the control valve and burner. In this case, take apart the gas tubing and remove any foreign matter. It could also indicate a gas leak, so you should locate and correct all leaks.

What to do if my Procom MN100TPA-B ODS/pilot lights but flame goes out when control knob is released?
    • M
      Melanie ChavezAug 22, 2025
If the ODS/pilot light of your Procom Heater goes out when you release the control knob, make sure the control knob is fully pressed in and held for at least 30 seconds after the pilot lights. Ensure the equipment shutoff valve is fully open. A loose thermocouple connection at the control valve could also be the reason; hand tighten it until snug, then tighten an additional 1/4 turn. Low gas pressure or a dirty/partially clogged ODS/pilot can also cause this issue. Contact your local gas company to check the gas pressure. You can also clean or replace the ODS/pilot assembly. Finally, the thermocouple or control valve might be damaged and require replacement.

What to do if my Procom MN100TPA-B Heater smells gas even when control knob is off?
    • T
      Trevor SantiagoAug 25, 2025
If you smell gas from your Procom Heater even when the control knob is in the OFF position, it could be due to a gas leak, so locate and correct all leaks. Alternatively, the control valve may be defective and require replacement.

Why my Procom MN100TPA-B burner(s) does not light after ODS/pilot is lit?
    • W
      William AllenAug 26, 2025
If the burner(s) on your Procom Heater do not light after the ODS/pilot is lit, the burner orifice may be clogged, so you should clean or replace it. Another possibility is that the burner orifice diameter is too small, requiring a replacement. Also, the inlet gas pressure might be too low, so contact your local gas supplier.
  • C
    Christine LeeAug 27, 2025
What to do if my Procom MN100TPA-B has high yellow flame during burner combustion?
    • C
      Colton MartinezAug 28, 2025
If your Procom Heater shows a high yellow flame during burner combustion, it could be due to insufficient air supply. Check the burner for any dirt or debris and clean it if necessary. A defective gas regulator could also be the cause, requiring replacement. Additionally, low inlet gas pressure might be the issue, so contact your local gas supplier.

Why is there no spark at ODS/pilot when ignitor button is pressed in Procom MN100TPA-B?
    • M
      Mr. Mike JordanAug 30, 2025
If there is no spark at the ODS/pilot when the ignitor button is pressed on your Procom Heater, the ignitor electrode might be positioned incorrectly or broken, so you should replace the pilot assembly. The ignitor electrode might not be connected to the ignitor cable, so replace the ignitor cable. The ignitor cable could be pinched or wet, so free it from any metal or tubing and keep it dry. The ignitor cable might be broken, so replace it. Finally, the piezo ignitor might be bad, so replace it.

What to do if my Procom MN100TPA-B Heater produces unwanted odors?
    • M
      Matthew NelsonAug 31, 2025
If your Procom Heater produces unwanted odors, it could be burning vapors from paint, hair spray, glues, etc., so ventilate the room and stop using odor-causing products while the heater is running. A gas leak could also be the cause, so locate and correct all leaks. If you are using a propane model, a low fuel supply could be the issue, so refill the supply tank.

    Jennifer SnyderSep 2, 2025
What to do if my Procom MN100TPA-B Heater burner backfires during combustion?
    • C
      Carolyn PowellSep 2, 2025
If the burner backfires during combustion in your Procom Heater, the burner orifice may be clogged or damaged, so clean or replace it. The burner itself could be damaged and need replacement. Also, the gas regulator might be damaged, so replace it.
  • T
    Timothy MurraySep 4, 2025
What to do if my Procom MN100TPA-B makes a whistling noise when burner is lit?
    • T
      Tanya WilsonSep 4, 2025
If your Procom Heater produces a whistling noise when the burner is lit, try turning the control knob to the low (1) position and let it warm up for a minute, especially if the burner is cold. Air in the gas line could also be the cause, so operate the burner until the air is removed and have the gas line checked by your local gas supplier. Blocked air passageways on the heater can also cause this, so observe the minimum installation clearances. A dirty or partially clogged burner orifice could also be the reason, so clean or replace the burner orifice.
  • J
    John MataSep 8, 2025
What to do if my Procom MN100TPA-B burner plaque(s) does not glow?
    • C
      Christina OsborneSep 8, 2025
If the burner plaque(s) on your Procom Heater do not glow, the plaque might be damaged, so replace the burner. The inlet gas pressure might be too low, so contact your local gas company. The control knob might be set between locked positions, so turn the control knob until it locks at the desired setting.
