What to do if my Procom Gas Heater produces unwanted odors?
    • M
      Megan RiosSep 8, 2025
If your Procom Gas Heater produces unwanted odors, it may be burning vapors from paint, hair spray, or glues. Open a window to ventilate the room and stop using odor-causing products while the heater is running. A gas leak or low fuel supply could also be the cause. Locate and correct any gas leaks and refill the supply tank for Propane/LP models.

If your Procom Gas Heater shuts off during use, it could be due to not enough fresh air being available. Open a window or door for ventilation. Low line pressure or a partially clogged ODS/pilot can also cause this. Contact your local gas supplier to check the line pressure and clean the ODS/pilot.

What to do if my Procom WZN18HLA Gas Heater sparks but doesn't ignite?
    • A
      Allen MartinSep 18, 2025
If your Procom Gas Heater sparks at the ODS/pilot but doesn't ignite, ensure the gas supply is turned on and the equipment shutoff valve is open. Fully press in the control knob while pressing the ignitor button. If it's a new installation or there's been a recent gas interruption, there may be air in the gas lines; continue holding down the control knob and repeat the igniting operation until the air is removed. The ODS/pilot may also be clogged and need cleaning or replacement. Make sure the control knob is in the PILOT position. If using propane, the gas supply may be depleted, so contact your local propane/LP gas company.
