  If you observe little to no crema, it could be due to several reasons. The coffee grind might not be fine enough; try using a finer grind and tamping the ground coffee more firmly. The coffee might also be too old, so ensure you are using fresh coffee. Another potential issue is too much chlorine in the water; consider using a chlorine filter. Also make sure that you are using the right coffee amount: Approx. 7g 9g of coffee for each cup.

If the PID-display is turned off, there might not be enough water in the fresh water tank; refill the water. If the PID-display is off even after refilling water, the floater might not be in the correct position; switch the machine off and on, and ensure the floater in the water tank is correctly positioned (the side of the floater with the magnet point must face towards the inside of the machine, and the floater itself must be inserted with the magnet point on the lower part of the floater side). Also, the water tank might not be situated properly; situate the water tank properly.
