  To ensure the ProForm Treadmill powers on, first, check that the power cord is properly plugged into a surge suppressor and that the surge suppressor is connected to a grounded outlet. Next, verify that the key is correctly inserted into the console. Lastly, examine the reset/off circuit breaker on the treadmill frame near the power cord. If the switch protrudes, the breaker has tripped; wait five minutes before pressing the switch back in to reset it.

  If the walking belt of your ProForm Treadmill slows down when you walk on it, make sure you are using a single-outlet surge suppressor that meets the required specifications. If the belt is too tight, remove the key and unplug the power cord, then use a hex key to turn both rear roller bolts counterclockwise by 1/4 of a turn.

  If the walking belt on your ProForm Treadmill is off-center, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Then, turn the left rear roller bolt clockwise or counterclockwise, depending on which direction the belt is off-center. If the belt slips, remove the key and unplug the power cord, then use a hex key to turn both rear roller bolts clockwise by 1/4 of a turn.

  If the incline on your ProForm Treadmill isn't changing correctly, insert the key into the console and press one of the incline buttons. While the incline is changing, remove the key. After a few seconds, re-insert the key. The treadmill will automatically rise to the maximum incline level and then return to the minimum level.
