9. Insert the indicated connectors and tie into the
Right Upright (78).
Next, set the Handrail Base (96) onto the
Handrail Spacers (97, 98).
Attach the Handrail Base (96) with four 3/8" x
1/2" Bolts (7) and four 3/8" Star Washers (9);
start all four Bolts and then tighten them.
See steps 5 and 7. Tighten the four 3/8" x 4 1/4"
Bolts (6).

8. See the upper inset drawing. Orient the Right
H
andrail Spacer (98) with the Right Upright (78)
as shown. Insert the Upright Wire (38) and wire
tie through the Right Upright Spacer and press
the Spacer onto the Upright.
Have a second person hold the Handrail (96)
near the Right Upright (78). Remove the wire tie
from the Upright Wire (38).
Connect the Upright Wire (38) to the Handrail
Wire (52).
See the lower inset drawing. The
connectors should slide together easily and
snap into place.
If they do not, turn one connec-
tor and try again. IF THE CONNECTORS ARE
NOT CONNECTED PROPERLY, THE CON-
SOLE MAY BE DAMAGED WHEN THE
POWER IS TURNED ON.
