CONTRAINDICATIONS WARNINGS
Before using the unit, always be sure to consult a doctor, especi-
ally in the following cases!
• Patients with implanted electronic devices (e.g. pacemaker)
• Patients with metal implants
• During pregnancy
• With children
• With heart problems, especially arrhythmia
• Before any positioning of the electrodes that transmits electrici-
ty to the carotid sinus nerve (neck)
• Before any positioning of the electrodes that transmits electrici-
ty transcerebrally (through the head)
• With non-diagnosed pain symptoms
• Treatment on the eyelids
Promed EMT-4 treatment must not be carried out at the same ti-
me as another potentially dangerous activity, e.g. driving an
automobile, operating a machine etc.
• It must not be used during bathing or showering.
• The
Promed EMT-4 must be kept safely out of the reach of child-
ren.
• Do not misuse the unit or use it for purposes other than the desi-
gnated applications.
• Protect the
Promed EMT-4 from moisture.
• The
Promed EMT-4and its accessories must only be used as de-
tailed in the operating instructions.
• You must follow the instructions supplied with the electrodes.
We advise against the use of electrode sizes other than those
recommended by the manufacturer.
