TROUBLESHOOTING SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE
If the Promed EMT-4 is not functioning correctly
1. Make sure that the batteries are correctly inserted, or replace
the batteries. When replacing the batteries, make sure that
the polarity is correct.
2. If the display is showing all functions but you can not feel
any stimulation, check that the electrode cables are properly
connected and the electrodes are correctly positioned. If the
unit seems to be working, but you feel no stimulation, it is
possible that the electrode cables or the electrodes have to
be replaced.
3. If the unit seems to be working, but you still feel no stimulati-
on, increase the current intensity as described above.
4. If you still can’t feel any stimulation, the electrodes or electrode
cables may have to be replaced.
Should you encounter further problems, please contact your
dealer or return the unit to your dealer. Do not attempt to repair
a faulty unit yourself.
