The below basic maintenance can be done by an unskilled person.
Cleaning Plastic Surfaces:
For cleaning plastic surfaces we recommend using regular soap and warm water. Never
use an aggresive cleaning agent that contains alcohol or essential oils. Using inappropriate
cleaners may cause permanent damage not covered by warranty. Remove all jewelery and
loose items before cleaning.
Cleaning of the Undersheet and pillow top:
For cleaning of the undersheet and pillow top we recommend only using approved cleaners
that have been tested by the manufacturer. ProSun recommends our Lucas-Cide liquid
cleaner or our Lucas Cleaner wipes. Each product can be used to clean and disinfect the
exterior under sheet and pillow top of your unit. Do not use this product on the coverplates/
plastic surface (see cleaning instructions above).
The undersheet can also be put in the washer on gentle cycle when needed. Your equipment
comes with an extra undersheet so you can switch them out when washing and not
experience any down time on your equipment.
NOTE:
For thorough cleaning and disinfection, the product you are using has to remain in contact with
thesurfacethatisbeingcleanedanddisinfectedforaspecicamountoftime,asmentioned
on the instructions of the product. The specifc amount of time will depened on the type of
cleaner/disinfectant that you are using. Follow the directions on the product.
Afterthespeciedapplicationtimeremoveremainingcleaner/disinfectantfromthesurfaceof
the equipment.
