11.2. Working with the machine tool
WARNING
Before carrying out any adjustment or maintenance work or tool changes on the machine tool, it
is essential to pull the mains plug of the machine tool out of the socket located at the rear of the
CNC control unit or to lock the control unit in order to prevent an accidental start-up! Risk of
injuries!
WARNING
All powered or manually operated parts of machine tools are also potential sources of risks of
injury. For that reason, always ensure that there is enough distance between yourself and the
unit and never reach into any moving tools with your hands!
12. Repair work
WARNING Never open the housing of the CU 4! Repairs may only be carried out by qualified
and skilled personnel! The best solution is to send the control unit to our Central Service division
for repairs. The address can be found on the back of this Manual.
