Enter the download IP address and the file NAME ONLY, NOT EXTENSION, as shown below;
A61[SPACE]192.168.0.17<ENTER> <<-------------- Use your computer IP address
A62[SPACE]ptf3207A_v02-01<ENTER> <<------------- Use the downloaded file name
Once entered, re-display the menu ( A[SPACE]?<ENTER> ) verifying that the correct values are stored.
Before proceeding, insure that the system watchdog is disabled (see above section) otherwise the
upgrade will not be performed
In order to transfer the downloaded file and update the instrument flash memory with the new
program the command UG-FLASH A63 must be used as follows;
A63[SPACE]1<ENTER>
Once you hit ENTER, the unit will respond with :
UPGRADE FLASH, ARE YOU SURE ? (YES/NO)
type;
YES<ENTER>
(if you type NO<ENTER> the upgrade process will be cancelled and the new file will not be transferred
to the instrument)
once you hit ENTER, the unit will respond with;
UPGRADING NOW!
and the upgrade process will commence. The upgrade can take several minutes to complete, as erasing
and re-programming the flash memory takes a long time.
DO NOT REMOVE POWER TO THE INSTRUMENT DURING THIS PROCESS
Once the process has completed, the front panel display will show;
UPGRADE SUCCESS !
