If the instrument could not find the file, or the upgrade failed for some other reason, the front panel
will display;
UPGRADE FAILED!
At this point, power should be removed from the unit for a least 10 seconds, and the unit should then
be re-powered.
Once the unit re-powers and initializes, a message will be temporarily (for 3 seconds) shown on the
front panel display, either:
UPGRADE SUCCESS! or UPGRADE FAILED! dependent upon whether the upgrade was successful or
not.
NOTE: If the upgrade process repeatedly fails, it could well be that the TFTP transfer is being
blocked by your computer's firewall.
To correct this follow the instructions shown in Appendix B (written for a Windows 7
machine)
