11. Place and hold the QUANTUM® and Mounting Plate flat
on the floor in the upright position. Press the Stroke-Out
Switch 2 times—within 30 seconds after the Manual
Release Cover is removed (F).
12. Both QUANTUM® Arms fully extend out with the Rotational
Arm in the Stow Position (vertical) and the Non-Rotational
Arm in the horizontal position. This will balance the
QUANTUM®’s weight and allow it to stand upright on its
own (G).
The Alert Beep will stop when the Arms reach their
maximum width.
13. Remove all wire connections from the QUANTUM®
Electrical Panel.
14. Place the QUANTUM® in desired location and mark
the 4 corners of the Mounting Plate with an erasable
grease pencil to establish the permanent position of the
QUANTUM® (H).
Make sure the Non-Rotational Arm is no more than .25”
(6.35mm) from the wall.
15. Unscrew the 2 bolts from the QUANTUM® Securement
System and dismount it from the Mounting Plate (J).
