1. Power off the NAS.
2. Disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet.
3. Disconnect all cables and external attachments.
4. Remove the drive trays.
a. Optional: Unlock the drive tray.
Note
• The preinstalled drive trays come unlocked.
• Ensure the drive tray keys are stored in a safe place.
b. Remove each drive tray by simultaneously pressing the latch and pulling the tray.
