What to do if QNAP Network Hardware has failed drives in RAID?

To replace failed drives in a QNAP Network Hardware RAID configuration, follow these steps: Log in to QTS, navigate to Main Menu > Storage Manager > Storage > Disks/VJBOD, and find the failed drive. Prepare a new hard drive with equal or greater capacity than the failed one. Remove the failed drive from the NAS, and wait for about 20 seconds or until you hear two beeps. Remove the failed drive from its tray, insert the new drive, and install it. Finally, go to Main Menu > Storage Manager > Storage Space, find the volume containing the new drive, and check that its status is 'Rebuilding'.

If Qfinder Pro or myQNAPCloud can't find your QNAP Network Hardware during QTS installation, it might be due to faulty drives or data. To resolve this, power off the NAS, remove all drives, and power the NAS back on. Use Qfinder Pro or myQNAPCloud to locate the NAS. Once found, reinsert the drives and continue with the QTS installation.
