USE
PERIODS OF INACTIVITY
Always turn the engine off
when refuelling. Petrol is highly
fl ammable. Never smoke or use
naked fl ames while refuelling,
and avoid breathing in the fuel
vapours.
Use only unleaded petrol
with min. 95 RON octane rating.
After refuelling, ensure
that the fuel fi ller cap is closed
correctly.
Do not allow fuel to come
into contact with the plastic com-
ponents of the vehicle to ensure
they are not damaged. If this
should occur, clean it off as soon
as possible using a rag.
If the scooter will not be used for a long
period of time, we recommend you
observe the following precautions:
• Engage the tilting lock
• Engage the parking brake
• Completely fi ll the tank with fuel
mixed with a quantity of stabiliser,
as specifi ed by the manufacturer of
the stabiliser
• Remove the battery (see the “Emer-
gency” chapter)
• Infl ate the tyres to the pressure
listed in the “Technical Data” chap-
ter.
REFUELLING
Proceed as follows to access the fuel
fi ller cap:
• Turn the key to the position and
raise the seat
• Unscrew the cap A in fi g.4 (green).
