Firmware Upgrade
Firmware of the module is upgraded via USB port by default. Please refer to the following procedures to
upgrade firmware through the EVB.
Step 1: Install and open the firmware upgrade tool QFIL on PC and then turn on the smart module
according to the procedures mentioned in Chapter 5.1.
Step 2: Click the “SelectPort” and select the USB port “Qualcomm HS-USB Diagnostics Modem 9091
(COM24)”.
Step 3: Select “Flat Build” in “Select Build Type” option.
Step 4: Click “Browse” in “Select Programmer” option to select the firmware which needs to be
upgraded.
Step 5: Click “Load XML” in “Select Build” option to select the XML which needs to be upgraded.
Step 6: Click “Download” to upgrade the firmware.
