LPG System
Do not smoke or use open ame when replacing LPG
cylinders. Close cylinder valves on empty cylinders before
disconnecng for replacement.
Ensure that when the LPG stove is on, avoid contact of
materials to the open ame. Never leave cra unaended
when open ame LPG consuming appliances are in use.
LPG Pipe & Hoses
Your LPG system consists of hoses connecng the LPG tank to the stove. The hoses in the LPG system
must be inspected regularly, at least annually, and replaced if any deterioraon is found.
System Leak Test
Prior to the boat leaving the factory, the LPG system is tested for any potenal leaks. However,
Quicksilver® recommends that you test the system regularly. Test all connecons for leakage by
means of the following:
1. Before each use, close appliance valves; open LPG cylinder valve; allow indicated gauge
pressure to stabilize; close LPG cylinder valve; observe pressure gauge reading near cylinder
valve for three minutes; pressure gauge reading should remain constant if no leak in the
2kg LPG tank (not supplied)

LPG working pressure: Butane = 28mbar, Propane = 37mbar
close fuel supply line valves and cylinder valve when appliances are not in use. Also, remember to
close all valves before refueling and immediately in an emergency. Finally, be sure appliance valves
are closed before opening cylinder valve.
