2 General description
2.1 Introduction
QGD 40, QGD 50 and QGD 60 are air cooled single-stage, oil-injected screw compressors,
driven by an electric motor.
The compressors are controlled by an Airlogic² controller. The controller is fitted to the left hand
door panel on the front side. An electric cabinet comprising the motor starter is located behind
this panel.
The compressors are enclosed in a sound-insulated bodywork.
Two compressors versions are available: a version without integrated dryer and a version with
integrated dryer.
The dryer removes water from the compressed air by cooling the air to near freezing point.
