MACHINE SWITCH STATUS (Fig.16)
F. Mow switch status indicator
Colour yellow, on when the cylinder drive is
engaged, off when the cylinder drive is in
neutral.
G. Forward/Reverse status indicator
Colour yellow, on when the foot pedal is not in
its neutral position, off when the foot pedal is
in its neutral position.
H. Seat switch status indicator
Colour yellow, on when the seat is not
occupied, off when the seat is occupied.
Note: The engine can not be started if any of the
machine status indicators are on. The machine
status indicators will continue to indicate switch
status when the machine is being used.
GAUGES
J. Hour meter
This gauge registers the total number of hours
the engine has run.
K. Fuel level indicator
Situated to the left of the combination gauge.
The fuel level indicator shows the amount of
fuel in the fuel tank.
L. Water temperature indicator
Situated to the right of the combination gauge.
The water temperature gauge indicates the
engine coolant temperature. If the temperature
rises excessively, check the coolant level in the
radiator expansion bottle and radiator. Also
check that the radiator mesh screen is clear
of debris.
M. Starter switch
Situated to the left of the gauges. The starter
key should be turned clockwise to the
‘preheat’ (No.2) position to heat the glow plugs,
when the red warning lamp goes out on the
combination gauge turn the starter key
clockwise to the ‘start’ (No.3) position to start
the engine. After starting the key should be
released and allowed to return automatically to
the ‘on’ (No.1) position for normal running.
