  A fault report from the ignition automat shortly after the burner activates in your Rapido Boiler may be due to absent or insufficient ionization current (required minimum value 5 µA), a dirty or faulty ionization electrode, absent ignition, a faulty ignition transformer, or a faulty ignition automat. You should measure the ionization current. Check the cable connection in the ignition automat and to the electrode. Check whether the gas outlet of the burner lance under the ionization electrode is not clogged, and clean if necessary. Clean or replace the ionization electrode. Replace the ignition transformer. Replace the ignition automat.

  A noisy burner when your Rapido Boiler activates can be caused by a wrong setting of the ignition electrode, faulty contact of ignition cables, a faulty insulator of the ignition electrode, or a worn-out cable of the ignition electrode. Check the distance between the ignition electrode and burner lance and earth rod. Check the connection to the ignition transformer and electrode. Replace the ignition electrode, or, if necessary, adjust the distance between the earth rod.

  A fault in the ignition automat of your Rapido Boiler at irregular intervals can be caused by a wrong setting of the ignition electrode, a worn-out cable of the ignition electrode, a pressure regulator of the gas regulating valve that doesn't open temporarily, or a faulty ignition automat. Check the distance between the ignition electrode and burner lance and earth rod. Replace the ignition electrode, or adjust the distance to earth rod if necessary. Exchange the pressure controller. Check the gas flow pressure controller, whereas the gas pressure controller may also have been switched off. Replace the ignition automat.

How to troubleshoot a Rapido Boiler with no power supply during commissioning fault report by ignition automat?

  If your Rapido Boiler reports a commissioning fault due to no power supply, it could be due to a faulty fuse, wrongly connected phase and neutral, or air in the gas pipe. Check the fuses and connections; the 6.3 A fuse is located under the control panel. To replace the fuse, open the boiler front door, unscrew, and remove the black cover to the fuse cabinet. Check thermostat settings. Connect phase to clamp L and neutral conductor to clamp N (at plug). Vent air from the gas pipe.
