Adjustingthedisplaybrightness
1.PressthePOWERbuttononce.
TheShortcutsmenuisdisplayed.
2.Adjustthebrightnesstotherequiredlevelusingthe
on-screenbrightnesssliderbarcontrol,or
3.TouchtheSunicontoincreasethebrightnesslevel
ortheMoonicontodecreasethebrightnesslevel.
Note:Thebrightnesslevelcanalsobeincreasedby
pressingthePowerbuttonmultipletimes.
Simulatormode
TheSimulatormodeenablesyoutopracticeoperating
yourdisplaywithoutdatafromaGPSantenna,radar
scanner,AISunit,orshnder.
Thesimulatormodeisswitchedon/offintheSystem
SetupMenu.
Note:RaymarinerecommendsthatyoudoNOT
usethesimulatormodewhilstnavigating.
Note:ThesimulatorwillNOTdisplayanyrealdata,
includinganysafetymessages(suchasthose
receivedfromAISunits).
