Hybridtouchoverview
YourmultifunctiondisplayfeaturesHybridtouch,whichenablesyou
tooperatetheunitusingthetouchscreenandthephysicalkeys.
Manycommonfunctionscanbeaccessedusingthetouchscreen
-forexample,allsoftkeyoperations.However,therearesome
functionsthatcannotbeperformedusingthetouchscreen.There
mayalsobesituations(suchasroughseaconditions)whenitisnot
appropriatetousethetouchscreen.Inthesesituations,Raymarine
stronglyrecommendsthatyouenablethetouchlock,andusethe
physicalkeystooperateyourmultifunctiondisplay.

Thetouchscreenprovidesaquickwayofperformingmanycommon
functions.
Someofthefunctionsyoucanoperatewiththetouchscreeninclude:
•Accessingapplications.
•Addingandeditingapplicationspages.
•Placingandeditingwaypoints.
•Buildingroutes.
•Panningthechartdisplay.
•Placingandmovingthecursor.
•PlacingandmovingVRMsandEBLs.

yourselfwithtouchoperationswhileyourvesselisanchored
ormoored.Youmayndithelpfultousethesimulatormode
