TheChartapplicationconsistsof2modes:Motionmode
andCursormode.Optionsandsettingsareavailableviathe
applicationandcontextmenus.
Motionmode
WhentheChartapplicationisopenedtheapplicationwillbe
inMotionmode.Inmotionmodethevesselremainscentered
on-screenandthechartmovesaroundthevessel.
ThefollowingcontrolsapplyinMotionmode:
•usetheRotarycontroltorangeinandout.
•presstheOKbuttontoopentheapplicationmenu.
•presstheBackbuttontoopentheViewswitcher.
•movetheJoystickinanydirectiontoenterCursormode.
Cursormode
InCursormodethecursorcanbemovedaroundthescreenand
isusedtopanthechart.Theareaofthechartdisplayedonly
changeswhentheJoystickisusedtopantoadifferentlocation.
ThefollowingcontrolsapplyinChartmode:
•usetheRotarycontroltorangeinandout.
•usetheJoystickdirectionalcontrolstomovethecursorand
pantheChartapplication.
•presstheOKbuttontoopenthecontextmenu.
•presstheBackbuttontoreturntoMotionmode.
Menusanddialogs
Withamenuordialogopenthefollowingcontrolsapply:
•usetheRotarycontrolorJoystickdirectionalcontrolsto
scrollthroughtheavailableoptions.
•usetheOKbuttontoselectahighlightedoptionorconrm
popupmessages.
•presstheBackbuttontoreturntothepreviousmenuorto
closethemenu.

Placingthecursoroveranareainthechartapplicationand
pressingtheOKbuttondisplaysacontextmenushowingthe
cursor’spositionaldataandmenuitems.
Thecontextmenuprovidesthefollowingpositionaldataforthe
cursorpositioninrelationtoyourvessel:
•Latitude
•Longitude
•Range
•Bearing
Thefollowingmenuitemsareavailable:
•GotoCursor/StopGoto
•PlaceWaypoint
•Photo(onlyavailablefromaphotoicon.)
•TideStation(onlyavailableifatidestationisselected.)
