If the compass display does not match the change in orientation of the compass,
return the Course Computer to your nearest Raymarine Service Center.
Step 4 – Compass
• With the compass unit connected to the Course Computer, rotate the compass
through 90º as shown below.

Hold compass with the cable protruding
downwards and rotate by 90º
Check control head compass
display recognises change
Repeat until compass spun through 360º
Note: Ensure that you hold the compass with the cable protruding downwards.
• Slowly rotate the compass clockwise through 360º. As the compass is turned, check
that the displayed heading increases with no sharp changes in the reading.


 If the compass display changes in accordance with the rotating of the compass,
proceed to Step 5.
If the compass display does not match the change in orientation of the compass,
return the Course Computer to your nearest Raymarine Service Center.
