remove
all
safety
wire.

the
check
nut
(1),
and
remove
the
actuator
rod end
(2)
from the
actuator
screw
(3).

Remove
the
retaining
nut

and
the
actuator
screw

housing

Remove

retaining
screws
from
the
sprocket housing

and
pull
the
back half
of the
housing
off of
the
sprocket assembly (7).

the roll
pins

bearings

the
bushings

Clean
all
parts
in
solvent

and
inspect
for
cracks,
corrosion,
distor-
tion
and
excessive
wear.
b.
Replace
bushings
and
any
other
parts
showing
evidence
of
wear.
c.
Lubricate
the
actuator
screw
threads
and
bearings
with
lubricating
grease

before
assembly.

Install the
new
bushing (9)
in
the
actuator
housing
(5).
Using
the
existing
holes
in
the
actuator
housing
as
pilot
holes,
drill
0.094-
to 0.09-/-inch-diameter
holes
through
the
new
bushing.
b.
Be
sure
to
clean
all metal
particles
and
filings
from
the
housing
and
bushing.
c.
Install
the
new
bushing
(12)
into
the
back half of
the
sprocket
housing
(6).
d.
Install the
shim
(Il)on
the
sprocket
assembly.
