CHECK THE OIL LEVEL
Oil/Service/ Air Filter access panel Oil /filter cap/ dipstick
1. Using the screwdriver provided loosen the 2 screws and open the oil/
service /air filter access panel.
2. Unscrew the oil filler cap/ dipstick and remove.
3. Wipe with a clean rag, without tightening the dipstick, insert it into
the oil port to check the oil level.
4. If the oil is lower than the bottom of the dipstick, add the recommended
oil.
Refit the oil filler cap and tighten until finger tight
6. Refit the access panel, using the screwdriver provided tighten the 2
screws. 9
CAUTION! Ensure your REDBACK Generator is on a flat, solid
surface. DO NOT use on a sandy or dusty surface. If using in a
generator box it must be appropriately ventilated.
