WARNING! If your REDBACK generator is not connected to your caravan and is being
used as a standalone unit, ensure it is grounded when using sensitive equipment such
as laptops.
When the generator is used as a backup power supply to a building, it should be
connected by a qualified electrician and must comply with relevant laws and electrical
codes. Failure to do so may cause feedback to the power line and may cause injury to
utility workers or other persons. Failure to do so may cause the REDBACK Generator to
explode, burn, cause a fire or cause injury.
CAUTION! DO NOT overload your REDBACK Generator repeatedly; doing so may
cause damage to the inverter board.
DO NOT exceeds the rated current on either 240v 15amp socket.
The REDBACK Generator CANNOT be joined in parallel to any other generator or power
device.
DO NOT lengthens the exhaust pipe.
If using an extension cable, ensure you use a rubber sleeve; flexible cable (must meet
IEC245 requirements).
Extension cable limitations; 2mm at 60m length / 3 mm at 100m length.
Ensure your REDBACK Generator is away from other wires and cables such as
distribution networks.
NOTE: When using the AC output, the DC output can be used. If you are using
both, ensure the total power output does not exceed the generators rated power
output.
