STARTING YOUR GENERATOR
1. Ensure the 2 white battery connectors inside the battery access panel
are connected as per the ’Quick Setup Guide’ .
2. Ensure the fuel tap is in the ’on’ position.
There are 3 ways to start your REDBACK Generator, key
start, easy recoil pull start and remote start . Key Start : Turn the key
to the ' start ’ position and hold for 2 seconds, your REDBACK Generator
will start. Once started, release the key. If it does not start after 2 seconds
repeat the process. Holding the key “on” for long periods will drain the
battery. Use small bursts until the REDBACK starts.
Pull Start : Pull the easy recoil starter cable until you feel resistance, then
pull quickly to start the generator.

CAUTIONS! Before starting your REDBACK Generator, make sure there is
no equipment connected to the AC or DC sockets. Equipment may start
suddenly when connected, causing possible injury.
NOTE: Switch the fuel tap to the “off” position when the REDBACK Generator
is not in use
NOTE: The key MUST be in the ‘on’ position in order for the easy recoil pull start and to work.
