7. To take a measurement, position the sensor so that it is directly
touching the surface being tested. The moisture sensor ball head
must be kept perpendicular to the material being measured, pressed
rmly on the surface and not slanted.
8. TheLCDdisplaysarelativemoisturereadingfrom0.0%to100.0%
withprogrammablealarmindicators(DRY,RISKandWET)–See
"AlarmSetupMode"toprogramalarms.
9. The MAX and MIN indicators display the highest and lowest readings
recorded during the measuring period.
10. To hold the current measurement press the MEAS button and the
dataholdsymbolwillappearontheLCDscreen.Inordertoresume
normal operation, press the MEAS button again.
11. After60secondsofinactivity(inDataHoldMode),themeterwill
automatically power off.
Alarm Settings
1. ThedefaultRISKalarmvalueissetat30%.TheRISKalarmvalue
canbesetbetween0%and50%.–See"AlarmSetupMode"to
program alarms.
2. ThedefaultWETalarmvalueissetat60%.TheWETalarmvalue
canbesetbetween50%and100%.–See"AlarmSetupMode"to
program alarms.
Alarm Setup Mode
1. ToadjustRISKandWETalarmvalues,themetermustbeturnedon
andcalibrated(seesteps1to4inOperatingInstructions).
2. Press the MEAS button to put the meter in data hold mode and
press the SET button.
3. TheRISKsymbolwillappearontheLCDscreenaswellasthevalue
inwhichtheRISKalarmissetto.
4. To change the alarm value, press the UP or DOWN buttons.
5. Press the SET button to save your setting and to move onto the WET
alarm value.
6. TheWETsymbolwillappearontheLCDscreenaswellasthevalue
in which the WET alarm is set to.
