10. Operation
a) Fitting the spare tyre
The supplied spare tyre can be screwed onto the back of
thevehicle(seethearrowintheguretotheright).
A screw and screwdriver are provided. Do not apply force
when tightening the screw.
b) Inserting the batteries into the transmitter
Open the battery compartment on the transmitter (slide the battery compartment lid open) and insert two new bat-
teries. Ensure the correct polarity (positive/+ and negative/-), see the label in the battery compartment and on the
batteries. Replace the battery compartment cover.
When using rechargeable batteries, the operating time will be reduced considerably due to the lower volt-
age (rated voltage: disposable battery = 1.5 V, rechargeable battery = 1.2 V). We recommend using only
high-quality alkaline batteries instead of rechargeable batteries.
If you still wish to use rechargeable batteries, ensure that they are fully charged.
c) Folding up the body
Ifthereisaprotectivelmonthebody,itmustberemoved.
The body is attached at the rear of the vehicle with 2 clips,
seethearrowsintheguretotheright.
Pull the clips out and carefully fold the body forwards.
Intheguretotheright,thesparetyre(Fittingthespare
tyre,seechapter10.a)hasnotyetbeentted.
