c) Changing a tyre
Thetyresarexedtothewheelrimsandcannotberemoved.Therefore,ifatyreisworn,theentirewheelmustbe
replaced.
Undo the wheel nut (A) with a suitable crosshead screwdriver and remove the wheel from the wheel axle.
The wheel tappet nut (B) may be stuck in the wheel rim when you remove the wheel; remove it from the wheel rim
of the old wheel.
Replace the wheel tappet nut (B) on the wheel axle (C); the cross-shaped opening in the wheel tappet nut must point
in the direction of the wheel axle.
Then, position the new wheel and attach with the wheel bolt (A).
Donotapplyanyforcewhentighteningthewheelnutasthewheelwillthenbedifculttoturn,whichcan
damage the drive mechanism. In addition, the thread in the wheel axle may be damaged.
