The sump features an electric ram to open the hatch. It
hinges forward for easy bilge access. Many components
are found here which need inspection periodically and some
before each outing. Become familiar with each of the com-
ponents by reading the individual owner’s manuals and
equipment guides found in your document box.
Checking the engine oil and power steering fluid levels must
be done before each boating outing. Carry extra oil and
power steerring fluid as recommended by the engine manu-
facturer. If generator equipped check the fluids before each
outing.
