Performing a Control Solution Test
Before performing a control solution test, always check the expiration date
( ) of the control solution. Do not use control solution if it is past the
expiration date or if the solution has not been stored correctly. When you open
a new bottle of control solution, always write the date of opening on the control
solution label. As soon as you have used the control solution, put the cap back
on the bottle. Always use the control solution within 90 days (3 months) of first
opening.
