PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE WHAT YOU SHOULD DO
My device does not start.
The device isn’t connected properly. Make sure the Power Cord is properly connected to
the device and that the Power Cord is plugged into an
electrical outlet.
The outlet isn’t working. Check if a wall switch controls the power to the wall
outlet, or try plugging another device into the outlet to
see if it works.
When I place the Flash Window against my skin, nothing
happens. The Flash Button does not blink orange, even
after a few seconds.
The device is locked. Unlock the device with the Skin Tone Tester. Note that
the device must be unlocked again if you don’t use it for 5
minutes. If you take a break in the middle of a treatment,
or if you turn o the device, you will need to unlock the
device again to use it.
The Contact Sensors aren’t in full contact with the skin. Check that the area around the ash window is touching
your skin. The device won’t work unless it’s at against
your skin.
You are trying to treat a small area, such as ngers or toes. Try pulling your skin to make a bigger at area to t in the
Flash Window or use the Precision Treatment Cap. If you
can’t get the entire window to touch your skin, the device
will not work.
