11 Care and maintenance
Regular care and maintenance guarantee trouble-
free operation and a long service life of the heat
pump.
n Check the electrical wiring
n Empty the storage tank for a heat pump shut-
down. Risk of freezing!
n W
e recommend cleaning the storage tank reg-
ularly
n Check the function of sacrificial anode regularly
n We recommend setting the hot water tempera-
ture as low as possible, in order to ensure the
most effective operation possible
n Check all parts for pressure resistance and
leak-tightness. Check the refrigerant volume
regularly
n To perform the statutory seal test where appli-
cable, it is necessary to arrange an annual
maintenance contract with an appropriate spe-
cialist firm.
n In the air intake of a basement laundry drying,
filters should be provided and should be moni-
tored monthly. Also note the maximum pres-
sure loss.
12 Temporary shutdown
The system may not be switched of
f at the mains
power supply even if the heating system is not
used for heating purposes over an extended period
(e.g. holidays)!
n The system is to be switched to "Stand-by"
mode during temporary shutdowns.
n Heating phases can be programmed for the
duration of the period of absence.
n The previous operating mode has to be
switched back on when the shutdown phase is
over
.
n Changing the operating mode is described in
the "Operation" chapter.
NOTICE!
In "Standby" , the heat pump is in standby
mode. Of the entire system, only the frost-pro-
tection function s activated.
