Mark the bearing caps according to
their con rods:
– n˚ 1 flywheel end,
– relay shaft end.
WARNING: do not use a sharp
point for marking as this could start
a crack in the rods. Use an
indelible marker pen.
Remove the bearing caps and
shells.
