BONNET
To open the bonnet, pull handle 1. Bonnet safety catch
To unlock, pull catch 2.
Closing the bonnet
Before closing the bonnet, make
sure that nothing has been left in the
engine compartment.
Hold the middle of the bonnet and
guide it down to one foot (30 cm)
above the closed position, then
release. It will latch automatically
under its own weight.
Check that the bonnet is
correctly locked.
Take care when working
in the engine compart-
ment as the engine
cooling fan may start to
operate at any moment without
warning.
