3 Operation and function
3.1 Buttons
The controller is operated via the 7 buttons next to the display. They have the
following functions:
Button ❶ - scrolling upwards
Button ❸ - scrolling downwards
Button ❷ - increasing adjustment values
Button ❹ - reducing adjustment values
Button ➄ - conrming
Button ➅ - menu button for changing between the status and the menu level
Button ➆ - escape button for changing into the previous menu

Electrical connection of a high-efciency pump (HE pump)
Speed control of a HE pump is possible via a PWM signal. The pump has to be
connected to the relay (power supply) as well as to one of the PWM outputs 1/2
of the controller. In the PUMP adjustment channel, one of the PWM control types
as well as a relay have to be selected (see page 59).
